House recipe, slow simmered soups are just one of the delightful offerings at the Rising Sun Cafe in downtown Brooksville, Fl. An extra helping of love goes into all of Lisa's recipes, but the soups are some of my favorites! On Wednesday's the soup selections include the creamy Baked Potato and Chicken Tortilla both of which are incredible! The creamy Baked Potato is so rich with chunks of potato and sprinkled with cheddar cheese and green onions. The Chicken Tortilla soup is an adaptation of a family heirloom recipe from the head chef, Hope who has Peruvian culinary influence. Come taste the love and love the taste!
